Become an Election Worker
Working at a precinct on Election Day is a wonderful way to serve your community and to meet your neighbors. On average, the City of Westland holds two elections each year in the months of August and November. We are currently accepting applications. Applications are available at the City Clerk’s office or you may download one from the link below.
Training dates will vary and will be scheduled before regularly scheduled elections. All election workers must be trained before being scheduled to work.

Election Inspector Application
You must be a registered voter in the State of Michigan, have moderate computer skills, be able to work well with others and be able to read and follow directions. All election workers will operate the laptop computer during the course of the day.
